Hermanus became know as Hermann.
One of the few things I could find on him was that he was in the militia for one month in 1862 when Cincinnati feared the South might attack the city. (It never did and the militia was disbanded.)
Hermann is mentioned in his father’s will, probated in 1855, but not in his mother’s obituary in 1868, so he probably died between those years.
I don’t know if he ever married.
